Summertime Studios considers your privacy very important. We will therefore process and use your data in a secure manner, entirely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. In this privacy statement we explain to you which data we collect from you and why we do this. You can also read in this statement what your rights are in relation to this processing. Article 1 Who are we?

Summertime Studios is a sole proprietorship, located in (1011 KW) Amsterdam at Oudeschans 85. We are registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 75299313. We are the controller of your personal data.



Article 2 What data do we use?


Here you can find an overview of the data we process from you, why we do this, what legal basis we have for processing this data from you and how long we will store this data.


We process your name, billing address, delivery address, e-mail, phone number, age, financial data and other data necessary to provide our services to you in the best possible way. You can think about your shoe size or your Instagram account when you send us a direct message regarding your order. In case of a business purchase, we also process your company details and VAT number. We use this data to make you a satisfied customer for the duration of our agreement. We keep this data for 7 years after your last order.


For billing and financial administration, we process your (company) name with any associated Chamber of Commerce information and VAT number, billing address, email, phone number, customer number, payment information and outstanding balance. Without this data we cannot process your payment. According to a legal obligation of the tax authorities, we have to keep this data for 7 years. After this period we will remove or anonymize this data from you.


We have a commercial interest in using some of your personal data for marketing purposes. We process your name and email for direct marketing. Optionally, you can also enter your birthday. We will delete this data once you unsubscribe from our newsletter. You can do this at the bottom of each newsletter sent.


To enable and optimize this website we use analytics and regtargeting services. These services use cookies. You can read more about the cookies we use and what personal data are processed with them in our cookie statement.


If you want to contact us via the website, we ask for your name and e-mail. Optionally, you can also enter your order number and phone number. By sending the contact form, this data becomes visible to us. We delete the data from a sent contact form as soon as the contact request is completed, unless this results in an agreement.


To enable the posting of reviews about our services, we process the content of your message with your name if desired. With the posting of your message, this data becomes visible to us. We may post reviews about our services on our website and social media channels out of commercial interest. We remove these as soon as they are no longer representative of our services or you request their removal.


When you choose to create an account, we process a password for the purpose of your personal account. We store this password encrypted in combination with your e-mail address and/or username. We do this to prevent security fraud. In addition, we process the data you enter in your account to facilitate any subsequent orders. We keep this account information until you delete your account. You can do this at any time in your personal environment.



Article 3 How do we obtain this data?

We have obtained the above data from you as a customer, contact person or website visitor, because you have provided this data to us. In addition, we may obtain your data when a gift is sent to you.

We make every effort to ensure that data on minors is only collected with parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data from a minor without such consent, please contact us.

Article 4 What rights do you have in relation to this data?


The General Data Protection Regulation has given you a number of rights regarding the personal data you allow us to process.

  1. Inspection - You may at any time make a request to us to inspect your data.
  2. Amendment - If you wish to have your data amended, corrected, supplemented, blocked or deleted on the basis of inspection, you can submit a request to this effect. You can also modify some data yourself in your personal account.
  3. Objection - You may object to the processing of your data.
  4. Data transfer - Should you wish to transfer your data to another provider, we will provide your data in a structured and common form that can be accessed by common digital systems.
  5. Withdrawal - Where we have processed data based on your explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent. This may well affect the services we are able to provide to you.


To exercise your rights you can send a request, accompanied by a copy of your ID (with BSN and passport photo masked), to contact@travelingdancer.nl. We will review your request as soon as possible. If we cannot fulfill your request, we will let you know why we reject your request.



Article 5 Who will receive your data?


We will not provide your data to third parties, unless this is necessary for the conduct of our business or required from a legal obligation. Your data may be passed on to processors and parties involved in the execution of our agreement for performance of the agreement. We conclude processing agreements with these third parties to optimally protect your privacy. We will not resell your data to third parties.


When we process your data outside the EEA, we will take appropriate (security) measures.

We encourage you to consult this privacy statement regularly, as we may make changes to the policy.
